where is pointer?
My babies and I at the Easter Egg Hunt
Asher is now pointing at things: stuff he wants to show us or eat, sometimes will point to his nose on command, points to 'dog-dog', points to pictures in books....I love it!! He is growing up so fast:)
Sadie on the other hand (no pun intended) is using her pointer to....pick her nose!! I guess that is a pretty common occurence with 3 year olds. And disgustingly sometimes end up in her mouth after the picking has ensued.
My pointer finger has been busy doing the hand motions to 'where is thumbkin?'. My kids love the song and pretty much any cheesy kids song with hand motions. I think Ashers fave is 'the wheels on the bus' and Sadie was always an 'Itsy bitsy spider' fan. Both my kids love music and Asher especially likes to clap and bounce as soon as he hears it. Sadie participates in the totsercize class offered at the local Y after my zumba class on Wednesday. They do different motions to music as it changes, for example when the brass instruments start playing they march around like elephants, then as soon as it becomes smooth and slow they 'skate' around, or Sadie's favorite is when the music becomes mysterious sounding and they tip toe around and stop to go 'shhh'! Asher loves running around with the big kids in the gym and when they play with bouncy balls at the end.
This past month has included totsercize, a few library story times, a Barnes and Nobles story time where Cat in the Hat made an appearance, the under the sea display at crown center, visits from both sets of grandparents, and a really fun Easter Egg hunt at a community church where the kids played games, made crafts, and ate lunch all for free! Of course we have spent a lot of time at home playing outside in the backyard with the swing and little tikes playground, playing out front with neighbors and enjoying our beautiful tulips, and our newest adventure- a bikeride where daddy pulled the kids in a trailer! They enjoyed it, but it sure gave BJ a work out going up our hill!!! It felt so good getting back on my bike....I have to admit I haven't been on it for a few years. After just one ride I know I'll be back on it this summer:)
So that is our randomness for the past few weeks!
